Collection and Use of Information
When you register for a free trial, ask for further information about Rosen Learning Center, or subscribe to the Web site/online ebook platform, we ask for your name, email address, postal address, and other relevant personal information. Personal information submitted in this way is added to our access control database, hosted by a third party hosting company, and to our customer databases at Rosen premises. Such disclosure is strictly voluntary. In order to contact us by email, however, you must provide an email address. This information will be updated if you inform us of any changes.
We may use information in our customer databases to send you information about us and our products which we think may be of interest to you, both electronically or otherwise. In the case of subscriptions and free trials, your personal information will also be used to enable us to verify you are a subscriber and to deliver Rosen Learning Center to you.
We request personal information (such as your name, email address and other contact details) from you when you contact us with subscription management queries, technical problems, to comment on Rosen Learning Center, or when you ask for information about how to use the Web site/online ebook platform. Personal information submitted by you via a "contact us" or feedback form will not be added to our customer database and we request it simply so that we can respond to you about your query. Statistics regarding the types of queries submitted to us via a "contact us" or feedback form may be collated by us in aggregate form so that we can effectively monitor the site and improve levels of service. If you have registered for a free trial, asked for information, or subscribed to Rosen Learning Center in the past and no longer use the subscription resource and do not wish us to store information about you, please contact us and we will remove your details from our customer database. We need to store information about current subscribers and trial in order to fulfill our contractual requirements to you and in order to deliver Rosen Learning Center to you.
Unless you have informed us that you do not wish to receive further information about our products, we may send you direct mail.
You may notify us either in writing, fax or email that you object to being contacted in a particular stated way. If you use more than one email address to communicate with us, please notify us of each email account you use.
Rosen requests that students under the age of 13 ask their parents or teachers for approval before sending any personally identifiable information. Users of Rosen Learning Center may use the Web site/online ebook platform without providing any personally identifiable information.
Single Sign-On (SSO)
Institutions configure Google Single Sign-On (SSO) to make it fast and easy for users to access multiple products. Interested customers should contact Customer Service to implement Single Sign-On with the Rosen Learning Center. If your institution uses SSO, and has configured this site to work with it, users can simply click the "Instant Login" button and sign in with their Google SSO credentials. Rosen Publishing does not sell any data from Google Single Sign-On or use it for marketing purposes.
Collection of Non-Personal Identifying Information
Rosen will also collect and use non-personal identifying information, including IP addresses and web server log files to track trends, administer the website, track user movement, and gather demographic information. We use this non-personal identifying information in the aggregate. We do not combine these types of non-personal identifying information with personal identifying information.
Sharing Collected Information
We do not share or distribute your information to others.

Rosen Learning Center has been developed by and hosted by third parties, but we have agreed with those third parties that they will keep your information secure and not use it for other purposes.
We have links to non-Rosen Web sites on Rosen Learning Center. If you visit these sites, they may collect information, and such Web sites are not within our control and are not covered by this privacy statement.
If we believe that your use of the Rosen Web site is unlawful or damaging to others, we reserve the right to disclose the information we have obtained through the Rosen Web site about you to the extent that it is reasonably necessary in our opinion to prevent, remedy or take action in relation to such conduct.
Your personal information is stored at a data center controlled by our third party hosting company and on the customer database at Rosen. The data center controlled by our third party hosting company is specifically designed to be physically secure and to admit authorized personnel only, who are contractually bound to keep all of our data confidential.
Access to our customer databases at Rosen is only given to those of our employees who need such access in order to carry out necessary processing of your account.
All personal information submitted by you and entered by Rosen in the Rosen Learning Center account management system is encoded using 128-bit SSL encryption before being sent over the Internet.
